Summer Steak Sliders
A different take on an American classic.
extra-virgin olive oil
shaved sandwich beef
chopped red onion
velveeta cheese, cubed
hot dog buns, New England style
Place a large skillet on medium heat and add extra virgin olive oil. Prep the red onion and velvetta cheese and set aside.
Once the oil is hot, add in onions and cook for 3 minutes. Toss around occasionally with a wooden spoon. Add in steak and cook until almost done. This will take about 5 minutes or so.
Add in salt, spices and worcestershire sauce. Mix until combined.
Set the skillet to a low heat. Scatter the cubed velvetta cheese over the top of the cooked steak.
Combine the cheese with the steak. See the attached photo.
Stuff 6 hotdog rolls with the cheesy steak and serve hot!
