Summer Steak Sliders

These super easy steak sliders will be a hit for you and guests.  They take about 15 mins to make. These are like steak subs but scaled down.  Instead of hoagie rolls, I used hot dog rolls. All one needs is fresh sandwich steak, melty Velveeta Cheese and a few ingredients and you’ll have these dynamite sliders on your table.  Being that this sandwich is scaled down, one can have two or three, right?

Summer Steak Sliders
A different take on an American classic.
  1. Place a large skillet on medium heat and add extra virgin olive oil. Prep the red onion and velvetta cheese and set aside.
  2. Once the oil is hot, add in onions and cook for 3 minutes. Toss around occasionally with a wooden spoon. Add in steak and cook until almost done. This will take about 5 minutes or so.
  3. Add in salt, spices and worcestershire sauce. Mix until combined.
  4. Set the skillet to a low heat. Scatter the cubed velvetta cheese over the top of the cooked steak.
  5. Combine the cheese with the steak. See the attached photo.
  6. Stuff 6 hotdog rolls with the cheesy steak and serve hot!
