Cajun Honey Garlic Shrimp
A quick and easy shrimp recipe thats full of cajun and asian flavor.

Instructions
  1. Peel or devein fresh or frozen raw shrimp and set aside. Tip: If frozen, thaw the shrimp in cold water for about 20 minutes.
  2. Mince 3 cloves of fresh garlic and a tbsp of fresh ginger root.
  3. In a small add soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, cajun seasoning and red pepper flake.
  4. Place half of the sauce into a ziplock bag and add the shrimp. Marinate for at least 20 minutes or overnight is even better!
  5. Add coconut oil to a cast iron skillet on medium heat. Carefully add shrimp one at a time to the skillet. Discard the marinade from the bag.
  6. Sear the shrimp on both sides. Around 1 minute per side. Be mindful of the heat and be careful not to burn them.
  7. Add all of the shrimp back to the skillet and remove it from the burner. Add remaining sauce, a touch fresh squeezed lime juice (about a tsp), dash of cajun seasoning and garnish with chopped parsley.
